This collection showcases black dichroic glass that is layered with transparent glass and fused in a kiln. During the firing process, the glass melts according to the elements in that environment, such as airflow, gravity and temperature. Then it sets.
Just like lava.
Above is a sterling silver link bracelet featuring dichroic glass in alternating pieces of green and gold. The green holds tints of blue and purple at different angles and the shifting colors of the gold can be viewed in the group photo at left.
This grouping conveys the various tones produced by one color of dichroic glass when viewed at different angles. This gold color shimmers in yellow, chartreuse, green and blue tones. It's dynamic jewelry.
