Click for larger image | This collection showcases clear dichroic glass that is layered with transparent and opaque glasses and fused in a kiln. During the firing process, the glass melts according to the elements in that environment, such as airflow, gravity and temperature. Then it sets. Just like ice. The top photo of our "Icicle" style earrings, shows shafts with two alternating colors. These two colors -- for example, the blue and peach in the orange "Creamsicle" earring (fourth from left) -- are the alternating sparkling tones under different lighting conditions. A backlight produces the peach and the frontlight produces the blue. It's dynamic jewelry. To the left are a pin and two styles of pierced earrings. |
